Engelhart Takes Stafford Showdown, Extends Lead
As was the case one season ago, Herbert Engelhart was the top sim racer when it came to the NASCAR iRacing.com Tour Modified Series at Jack Arute?s Stafford Motor Speedway. Engelhart, the current point leader in the series, extended his advantage on the field in Week Five after a win which featured a full field of ?ground-pounding? Tour Modified cars. Engelhart won twice on the week in his two starts with his biggest win of record coming on Saturuday. The Mid-South Club driver led fifty-one of the 100 laps at the Connecticut track on Saturday as he defeated the likes of Brandon Salvatore, Levi Poland, Troy Talman and Taylor Meyn in the 2443 sof race.
