Jaafar tops Donington Park test
Jazeman Jaafar set the fastest time of the day in pre-race practice for this weekend's penultimate round of the British Formula 3 championship. Jaafar was only seventh in the morning's opening session, but found nearly 1.5 seconds in the afternoon to lead a Carlin 1-2-3-4-5 in the overall times. The 18-year-old Malaysian's team-mate Rupert Svendsen-Cook lapped the Donington GP circuit just 0.032s shy of Jaafar's 1m22.846s fastest time to go second, ahead of Kevin Magnussen, Jack Harvey and new champion Felipe Nasr.
